Q. How do I submit one of my own wallpapers to Ani-Walls.net?
A. You have to register to submit to Ani-Walls.net, but you should first check out the submissions page for in-depth instructions on how to submit your wallpapers, and don't forget to read our submission guidelines so you know your wallpaper won't be automatically rejected!
Q. What happened to the old site? / I'm an artist who submitted a long time ago and my wallpaper is listed as "Unknown!"
A. After the old webhost went kaput, Ani-Walls.net was restructured using the Coppermine Image Gallery system, making site updates much more timely and offering new features such as a list of most viewed wallpapers and the ability to rate wallpapers. The Unknown Gallery contains the wallpapers that I could not identify by artist when I was re-uploading all the images. If you have come to realize that your wallpapers are listed this way, please, by all means, contact me.
Q. I'm an artist who submitted on the old website and my wallpapers are under my name. How do I log into my account?
A. When I re-created the site, I created an account for all pre-existing artists. If you are one of the artists I was unable to correctly contact, contact me and I will provide you with your password so you may begin using your account to submit wallpapers or to provide personal information about yourself.
Q. Why don't you have wallpapers for *insert anime series name here*?
A. Wallpapers that aren't well known or that are hard to find images for are less likely to appear on the website. I can't create wallpapers specifically by request, but if there's something you'd like to see, I always appreciate feedback. If you have made a wallpaper for a series that isn't listed, however, just contact me and I will add the series to our list so you can submit it to the proper place.
Q. Why didn't you accept the wallpaper I submitted?
A. Most likely, your wallpaper in some way violated the submissions guidelines. Make sure to check them before you submit. Also, remember that it may take up to five days before I have time to check and approve your wallpaper, so wait at least a week before getting concerned.
Q. I see a wallpaper and I know it's in the wrong series, what do I do?
A. Go right ahead and contact me, an artist might have accidently selected the wrong series and sometimes I just can't catch it. Never upset to be corrected on a mistake.

Q. How do I see the wallpaper size I need for my computer?
A.When you first click on a thumbnail, you will be shown a 800x600 version of the wallpaper. Clicking that picture will pop up a full-sized, 1024x768 version. Those are the only two sizes we supply, but centering the image on a solid-colored background could be a good solution for larger screen sizes.
Q. How can I see all the wallpapers made by a particular artist?
A.Click on the screen name of the artist whose picture you want to view (you can do this by looking at the name listed under a wallpaper thumbnail, or by going to the memberlist). This will show you their information a single thumbnail of one of their images. Click that image for a full gallery of their work.
Q. I submitted a wallpaper and you posted it, but I made a better version. Can I upload it?
A.If you want a wallpaper you uploaded to be deleted from the galleries, you need to e-mail SenshiG. I will delete the old version, and you can then upload the new version. Do not upload the new one without contacting me first, because I will probably assume you're making a mistake by trying to submit the same wallpaper again, and won't accept it.
Q. What are the guidelines for posting comments about wallpapers?
A.The comments feature is interesting and allows for a sense of community, where you can ask questions about wallpapers or give compliments about your favorites. If it's abused, it will be removed, or specific users could lose privleges. A good rule of thumb: If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all. If an artist requests critical feedback, it's one thing. Otherwise, don't go around insulting other peoples' wallpapers unless you think you have something truly helpful to say. When in doubt, just don't comment.
