The following are some of the best resources for wallpaper-quality anime images out there. SenshiG is not responsible for the content of these websites, so beware, as not all content will be appropriate for all audiences.
Albatross Anime Image Archive - Not a huge variety of series, but the ones that are there are very large and very high quality!
Anime Project Alliance Gallery - This widely-used resource offers tons of scans that vary in quality, but are all quite large, and thus easy to make work even if they require some touch-ups.
FerriCorp - A little more than two dozen series, with a good variety of large, clear scans.
MangAnime - A little harder to find precisely that image you're looking for, but large, relatively clean scans nonetheless.
